Pada hari Minggu tanggal 8 Agustus 2021 kampung Pasir Muncang melaksanakan kerja bakti bersama dengan membangun pondasi Mushola. Pondasi ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan struktur tanah yang dikhawatirkan berpotensi menimbulkan longsor dan juga bertujuan untuk memudahkan warga Pasir Muncang beribadah, terutama ibadah sholat jum’at.
“Sebenarnya tujuan dari pembangunan Mushola sendiri ialah untuk memudahkan warga Pasir Muncang melaksanakan ibadah, terutama ibadah sholat jum’at, agar warga Pasir Muncang tidak perlu pergi ke masjid jami Al-Furqon yang jaraknya lumayan jauh”. Ujar bapak Ata Hermawan selaku ketua RT 007.
Proses pembangunan pondasi ini diikuti oleh warga Pasir Muncang dan para mahasiswa UIN Bandung yang sedang melaksanakan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Sukamulya.
Proses pembangunan pondasi sendiri diawali dengan pengangkutan batu hingga proses penyatuan batu dengan semen, sehingga proses pembangunan sendiri bisa selesai dengan cepat dan lancar.
