Dalam rangka untuk mempercepat penanggulangan penyebaran Covid-19, pemerintah Desa Sukamulya melaksanakan Vaksinasi dosis 1 dan dosis 2 secara massal, dalam pelaksanaan vaksinasi di Desa Sukamulya, dibantu oleh tim medis Puskesmas Tegalwaru sebagai tim kesehatan, dari KKN-DR UIN Bandung, tim satgas Covid-19, Bhabinsa, dan Linmas Desa Sukamulya.
Pelaksanaan vaksinasi Covid-19 di Desa Sukamulya dilaksanakan pada tanggal 05 Agustus 2021 yang di peruntukan untuk warga usia 18-45 tahun.
Adapun warga yang terdata dalam vaksin dosis 2 berjumlah 284 dan yang terdaftar dan telah divaksin hanya 235 dan pada vaksin dosis 1 berjumlah 125 dan yang terdaftar dan telah di vaksin 120 orang dan ada beberapa warga yang tertunda karena mempunyai riwayat penyakit bawaan dan alasan kesehatan lainnya.
Dalam kegiatan ini, Desa Sukamulya berharap dengan diadakannya vaksinasi masal ini dapat segera menutup rantai penyebaraan covid-19, namun meskipun telah divaksin, harus tetap mengikuti protokol kesehatan memakai masker saat berpergiaan keluar rumah, rajin mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak dan juga menghindari kerumunan, menjaga imunitas tubuh.
